Solar Specialist

Not many people know about solar water heating, or fully understand it. The basic concept is to pump cold water up to your roof to where the panels are mounted. The water flows through the collectors and is heated. It is then forced back down to your pool or hot water heater, and this process is constantly repeated. Sounds simple doesn't it? It certainly is but it works GREAT!

A Basic Solar Pool Heater

Above you can see a diagram for a basic pool system showing the water flow through colors. The cold water enters in the bottom left corner of the panels. It then travels up and to the right, ensuring that every inch of the panel is used before returning to the pool. This provides the most heat and longest life for the panels and piping.
